BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER (Terms Apply)

{{COMPANY_URL}} is committed to fostering a positive community, as long as "positive" is defined by our moderation team, which changes shift every 8 hours.

The following Community Guidelines were crafted by our Trust & Safety team, a group of overworked individuals who have seen things they cannot unsee. Compliance is mandatory. Understanding is optional. Appeals are decorative.

1. REPORTING & APPEALS

To report a violation, use the report button that's hidden three menus deep. We made it hard to find to reduce frivolous reports. This has not worked.

Appeals must be submitted within 30 days using a form that requires you to already be logged in to the account you can't access. Good luck.

2. MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT

{{COMPANY_URL}} reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or take any other action we deem appropriate. 'Appropriate' is whatever we decide it is.

Warning, suspension, or ban may be issued without prior notice. We believe in the element of surprise as a community management strategy.

Moderators are volunteers/employees who do their best. They're also human and occasionally petty. We apologize in advance and also in arrears.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Copyright violations will be addressed per DMCA requirements, which means we'll take it down first and ask questions never.

Respect others' intellectual property. Also respect ours—we own everything you post here, remember?

AI-generated content must be labeled as such, unless it's indistinguishable from human content, in which case existential dread prevents enforcement.

Fair use claims are evaluated by staff with no legal training. This keeps things interesting and our lawyers employed.

4. RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

Be respectful to other community members, or at least maintain plausible deniability of disrespect. Passive aggression is technically allowed but spiritually frowned upon.

Treat others as you would want to be treated, unless you're into that sort of thing, in which case please keep it off our platform.

5. GUIDELINE UPDATES

These guidelines may be updated at any time without notice. We might tweet about it if we remember. Check back daily, or don't—your choice, your consequences.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Not using the platform also constitutes acceptance, spiritually.

Major updates will be announced via the notification system you probably muted because it was annoying.

Retroactive enforcement of new rules is theoretically prohibited but practically ambiguous. Don't quote us on this.

6. SAFETY FEATURES

Privacy settings let you control who sees your content. The default settings expose everything, because that's how we make money.

Two-factor authentication is recommended. We won't require it because users complained, and then they'll complain when they get hacked. It's a beautiful cycle.

7. CONTENT STANDARDS

Adult content must be properly marked, hidden, and ideally kept to yourself. We're not prudes; we're just afraid of advertisers.

Misleading content is not allowed. However, our definition of 'misleading' excludes our own marketing materials.

Spam is prohibited, unless it's sufficiently entertaining spam, in which case we might feature it ironically before deleting it.

8. PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR

Ban evasion will result in the new account being banned. And the next one. We can do this all day. We have interns.

Manipulation of engagement metrics through bots, alt accounts, or coordinated inauthentic behavior is prohibited. The authentic version is somehow worse but technically allowed.

Impersonation of other users, celebrities, or {{COMPANY_URL}} staff is not allowed. Impersonation of corporate accounts you disagree with is also not allowed but slightly more understandable.
